Royal High Tea Fundraiser cancelled due to COVID-19

On April 26, 2020, we would have held our Royal High Tea fundraiser event with our Maui ‘ohana. Though COVID-19 changed our original plans, it cannot dampen our spirits!

Dr. Bridget Bongaard is raising a cup of tea today to celebrate us journeying together for a more abundant, full life with better health and wellness. In order to celebrate the noble spirit of our survivors that we serve in Maui County, MCWR is continuing to work on plans to resume its fundraising efforts.

The British cup of tea, “or cuppa,” is a symbol of sharing and caring. Three weeks ago we launched a weekly virtual “Share and Care” check-in every Thursday, for cancer survivors, to stay connected, strong, and resilient by sharing our life circumstances and wisdom with each other.

We will also launch our new “The New You” video series, which allows us to continue to share science, self-care, and wellness skills in video format.
